For 10 years, Chris owned and operated a CD duplication business in the Orlando area, while Kevin was District Manager for a Rental Car Company. In November, 2008 they became the proprietors of The Cracked Egg Diner at 3280-D South Atlantic Ave. which had just closed its doors. The restaurant by that time had undergone several changes in ownership and needed a new vision in order to be successful. Since that time, the Egg has grown from a team of one server, two cooks and 4 volunteer family members in 2008 to a team of 21 employees today.

Chris and Kevin Purucker share responsibility as Owner/Managers. As a team, they have been able to use their combined skills and business experience to take the Cracked Egg Diner from failure to the phenomenal breakfast and lunch destination it is today. With their combined experience, relentless enthusiasm and passionate commitment to their business, employees and community, the Purucker brothers have made a truly successful restaurant in Daytona Beach Shores.
